Conventional metal braces remain popular because of the reliable results they provide. However, many patients would prefer to enjoy those results without having their smile dominated by the highly visible look of metal braces. The metal can make some patients become self-conscious because of their appearance and the slurred speech that traditional braces can cause. Many adults also feel awkward about braces because they believe they’re meant for children. Dr. Joseph Fleming can remove all of these concerns with Invisalign® in Oklahoma City, OK.
For more than a decade, Dr. Fleming has been helping patients discover straight, spectacular smiles. His consistent results come from a combination of exceptional training—including a degree from University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and ongoing training through the prestigious Spear Education institute—as well as an office equipped with all the latest dental technology. See what he can do for you with Invisalign!
Invisalign is a customized treatment that uses clear plastic aligners in place of unsightly metal brackets and wires. At the beginning of your treatment, Dr. Fleming uses his in-office intraoral scanner to take digital impressions of your teeth. You no longer have to bite down on a mouthful of sticky, unpleasant putty. On your next visit Dr. Fleming will provide you with your invisible aligners and give you instructions on how to use them for the best results. This treatment is available as a standalone service or as part of a complete smile makeover or full mouth reconstruction.

During your treatment you’ll wear your clear plastic aligners each day for up to 22 hours, removing them only to eat and to clean your teeth. They stay firmly in your mouth but come out easily when you need them to and slip back in just as easily. Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign doesn’t require a lot of special care and are less likely to trap food and plaque. You’ll change to a new set of aligners every week or two as your teeth gradually move into their ideal position. In just weeks you’ll begin to see straighter teeth and may be able to finish treatment in as few as 12 months—much faster than traditional braces!
